R.I.P STACK

It was a year ago from today that my sidekick and phones were
going off a lot more than usual. I knew immediately that something wasn't
right, because good news doesn't travel this way, from what I've been
through before. After a few hours had passed, I finally got a chance to
check my email... I see a link on allhiphop.com which read "Dipset
affiliate Stack Bundles killed". As a fan of his music, I was shocked. In
my few short years in this industry, Stack was one of the first to lend a
helping hand an continued to do so through out my whole time knowing him.
I reached out while I was still in high school, just starting to get into mixtapes
with no track record to back my request to do a full CD, but all it took
was one phone call an sure enough, came my personal favorite mixtape:
"Fresh Off The Block". This was at a time when Stack was mainly known
for DJ Clue spots, so when I dropped this CD, I was questioned why I
was doing a whole Stack CD. But in the next few months, people finally
caught on when Stack dropped the "Rap's Makeover" series an was finally
recognized for his overall talent. Even during his time of shine with Jim
Jones and Byrd Gang, he never changed and always remained just a phone
call away. As recently as April 2007, he hosted my "Gang Related"
mixtape. In an industry where people tend to often forget about the ones
that were around before the fame and recognition, Stack really lived up
to his AKA "Humble Bundles". With that being said, I want to thank him
an the whole Riot Squad (Bynoe, G'$, and Dealz) for always lookin' out when ever
I needed it. R.I.P. Stack!
